Eddie Murphy takes the reins as Chris, a determined individual with one goal in mind – winning his neighborhood’s cherished annual Christmas home decoration contest. However, a chance encounter with a playful elf named Pepper, portrayed by Jillian Bell, takes a whimsical turn. In an effort to enhance his chances of victory, Chris inadvertently agrees to a pact with Pepper, setting in motion a mischievous magical spell that brings the iconic “12 Days of Christmas” to life, creating merry chaos throughout the town. Now, with the holidays hanging in the balance, Chris, alongside his wife Carol (played by Ellis Ross) and their three children, embarks on a race against time to break Pepper’s spell, confront a host of enchanting yet devious characters, and save Christmas for everyone.

This festive film marks the long-awaited reunion of director Reginald Hudlin, Eddie Murphy, and producer Brian Grazer, following their 1992 hit, “Boomerang.” The heartwarming script is penned by Kelly Younger, who drew inspiration from his own childhood experiences on the iconic Candy Cane Lane in El Segundo, CA.

Director Reginald Hudlin expresses his excitement, stating, “I can’t wait for the world to see ‘Candy Cane Lane.’ I’ve wanted to make a Christmas movie my whole life, but I wanted to do something fresh and surprising. Eddie Murphy and this hilarious cast really bring the funny, it’s super Christmas-y, and it will hit you right in the feels.”

Behind the scenes, the movie is brought to life by a talented production team, including Murphy, Brian Grazer, Karen Lunder, and Charisse Hewitt-Webster as producers, with Doug Merrifield serving as the executive producer.
